In recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Salons by JC of Highland Park united their independent salon owners to open their suites for a complimentary evening of beauty services, food, wine and more. A month-long collection of beauty items were donated by our caring community to A Safe Place, a leading advocate for eliminating domestic violence in northern Illinois.
“I am very much a charity-minded entrepreneur who believes in supporting each other and the strength of the community,” says Megan O’Connor, owner of Salons by JC of Highland Park. “We are a means for men and women in the beauty industry to fulfill their dream of becoming successful independent business owners who can use their talents to help others look and feel their best.”
